Unit Overview

Incorporating Science and literacy standards, this lesson serves as an exploritive guide to the human skeleton. Using senses and technology to enhance the learning experience, these lessons allow for many differentiation opportunities and classroom management styles, The targeted unit plan will be a guided journey for to discover more about what gives their body structure and how amazing it truly is. 

- Unit Breakdown -

Lesson 1

Students will explore there own skeleton by attempting to guess the number of bones on certain parts of their body by only using touch. 

Lesson 2

Students will explore there the skeleton by attempting to guess the number of bones on certain parts of their body by now using x-rays. 

Lesson 3

Students will puzzle together a group "Mr. Bones" and attempt to pin together his skeleton in the correct location, order,  and direction. 

Lesson 4

Student will Explore the "Mr.Bones" App and participate in a Simon Says game to begin to learn all the scientific names for the human skeleton.
