Indus Valley Civilization & Trade

-Unit Plan-

Unit Overview

This 4th grade Social studies and Literacy integrated unit covers the Indus Valley Civilization and the beginning principles and practice of trade. After discovering the basic social structure and lives of the civilization Students will digitally explore the different things traded during that time through an application I created. Students will then become traders curating actual facts about their goods, creating a shop and shop seal, and designing their product. This unit will culminate in a bazar day. This game formatted trade day, students are allowed a certain amount of inventory that they will be allowed to trade with others in the effort to complete their shopping list.
